Ingredients: 

1 small chicken, cut into quarters
300 ml of water
2 bay leaves
enough cooking oil for frying


Chicken Seasoning recipe penyet (puree) :

4 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1 cm turmeric
3 cm ginger
3 cm galangal
1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Penyet Chicken Chili Recipe Ingredients :

3 red onions
1 clove garlic
6 red chilies curly
5 pieces of red chili sauce
1/2 plum tomatoes
1 tablespoon shrimp paste fried
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sliced ​​1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 bunch basil, leaves take
2 oranges limes, halved

How to cook Chicken penyet :

Marinate chicken with crushed herbs. Add bay leaf and water. Cook until chicken is tender. Remove and set aside. Fry chicken until cooked. Remove and drain.
Sauce: Saute onion, garlic, peppers, and tomatoes until wilted. Puree with shrimp paste, salt, and sugar. Add lemon juice and basil leaves. Stir well.
Put the fried chicken on top of sauce. Penyet-penyet until sauce stick to the chicken meat
